Developing commissioning plans and procedures for electrical systems

Conducting site visits to ensure that electrical systems are installed according to design specifications
•
Conducting electrical testing to ensure that the system is functioning safely and efficiently
•
Identifying and resolving electrical issues that may arise during the commissioning process
•
Providing technical support to other engineers and project managers
•
Conduct electrical testing of all components, including cables, transformers, circuit breakers, generators, motors, electrical panels, and other equipment
•
Perform insulation resistance testing, continuity testing, high-pot testing, and functional testing to verify the correct operation of electrical systems
•
Ensure that all electrical systems comply with applicable codes, standards and safety regulations
•
Perform system integration testing (e.g., control systems, automation systems, and protection systems) to ensure proper interaction of all components
•
Troubleshoot any electrical issues identified during testing and take corrective actions
