Knowledge of professional standards (GAAP, GASB, FASB, SOX, and IFRS)

Manage and lead audits, overseeing all aspects, including planning, executing and directing in completing financial and compliance audits while ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints

Experience with a variety of audit cycles, including revenues, loans, debt, accrued liabilities & accounts payable, cash, employee compensation, capital assets, operating leases, equity, operating expenses, and investments
•
Prepare financial statements with disclosures, applying various areas of GAAP as needed and documenting, validating, testing and assessing various financial statement cycles and control systems
•
Supervise and mentor associates and interns on the audit process and assess the performance of staff
•
Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve audit-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements
•
Gain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives to utilize on engagements
•
Exhibit strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and relationships
