As WHS Manager, My role is included in identifying and addressing compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through regular audits, Led a large multidisciplinary team including onsite medical representatives, Yard Marshall, Yard Supervisors, HOH Supervisors, Safety Ambassadors, and WHS Officers, enhancing coordination and safety compliance across site operations. Directed the successful safety management and compliance oversight for the launch of multiple warehouse buildings, ensuring all safety norms and regulatory requirements were met during project execution, facilitate and lead the team in incident investigations, ensure timely entry of safety incidents into AUSTIN databases, and maintain compliance-related documentation in accordance with Amazon and local regulations. Additionally, I conduct safety observations, audits, and site-specific training to enhance safety awareness and readiness. My responsibilities extend to fire prevention, hazardous waste management, and regulatory compliance, including inspections of fire pump rooms and FM 200 systems. I actively support process improvement initiatives, oversee the execution of WHSMS procedures, and ensure the completion of compliance calendar actions. Assist site leadership in closing out self-assessment actions, support team members in completing assigned tasks via Playbook/ASANA, and conduct regulatory checks on noise, radiation, and hazardous goods. I also manage the site’s risk assessment register, oversee contractor permits for high-risk work, and contribute to the successful implementation of ISO 45001:2018 standards.

My role involves partnering with stakeholders to execute high-risk projects safely, including roof replacements, volume expansion, HVAC refurbishments, and other critical site-level initiatives

Through these efforts, I help drive a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement at site and for region. Implemented rigorous incident investigation protocols and maintained timely safety incident reporting in AUSTIN databases, resulting in reduction in workplace incidents year-over-year and increased in near miss reporting above the target of 90.23 NMR weekly basis.

Spearheaded continuous process improvements and compliance initiatives aligned with ISO 45001:2018 standards, driving a measurable culture of safety and operational excellence across the region. Handled and oversee the critical roof replacement project on the operational floor and successfully led the groundbreaking NAG1 roof replacement project along with team - the first of its kind in IN Ops- managing 184K sq. ft. of operational space, 400+ associates, and 50+ contract employees over 125 days with zero safety incidents. This project included installing a 440m lifeline and 14 lightning arrestors, effectively resolving long-standing monsoon leakage issues. Additionally, I played a key core role in achieving ISO 45001 certification for 6 sites, with 6 more is in progress in PAN India.
