Programming of PLC system (Siemens, Omron and Haiwell ) and SCADA
•
Design, develop, and implement control system (logic software and hardware) to meet process, machine, and integrated system requirements
•
Develop control logic software and user interface applications
•
Develop schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring, and design equipment panel layouts on AutoCAD software
•
Simulating, Installing, Testing, and Managing Instrumentation and Control System
•
Develop the Control Narrative and Cause & Effect diagram in coordination with the process engineers
•
Performs PID tuning and adjustments for optimizing process controllers
•
Develop instrument block diagrams, instrument loop diagrams, interconnection diagram, electrical one-line diagrams, power consumption lists and I/O lists
•
Maintain, troubleshoot and modify software programs for various manufacturing processes, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks such as Ethernet, Modbus Profibus, motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems
•
Monitor production metrics and partner with operations and quality for system performance issues
•
Communicate technical issues and project timelines with leadership, operations and the maintenance team. Explain production impacts and work closely with maintenance/operations/engineering to ensure a thorough understanding of impact to manufacturing processes
•
Assist in maintaining Variable Frequency Drives, Programmable Logic Controllers, Instrumentation, Process computers and related equipment
•
Assist with initial start-up, debug integrated systems, and develop system documentation
•
Adheres to scope, quality, schedule, and budget requirements of assigned tasks
•
Evaluate and recommend specific hardware and software components to be used on any given project
•
Manage the instrument calibration program for regulatory and quality compliance
•
System panel design, assembly, commissioning and testing
•
Debug PLCs, networking, power systems, I/O devices, etc. and develop and improve SCADA programs
•
Installation and startup of new or changes to equipment or processes and coordinates major maintenance and repair of automation equipment
•
Designing and developing new control systems
•
Evaluate and recommend solutions for technical issues in control and instrument area
•
Testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating devices and instruments
