I have over 7.5 years of logistics experience with MSF. I am currently working as Project Logistics Manager (Interim) with MSF-OCP from July 2025 to January 2026, while contracted as Hospital Logistics Supervisor since March 2023. Previous roles include Base and Facilities Officer (22 months), Radio Operator (19 months), and Logistics Assistant (13 months), with strong expertise in hospital logistics, facilities management, supply support, and team supervision.

Project Logistics Manager (Interim)

Ensure the proper maintenance of the base, which includes the Office and OPD and IPD compound
Ensures that all the logistics basics are applies and are within the required minimum standards e.g., Water & Sanitation, Energy, etc
Adhere to MSF logistics procedures as outlined in the project SOP regarding supply management and security, including communication protocols, safe room standards, and guidelines for movements during summer and winter including shipments management and follow up out of working hours
Assess road conditions, access to locations, and develop clear itineraries
Organize and establish precise movement and road maps based on information gathered during explorations, alongside detailed movement SOPs
Ensure the good functioning of Watsan activity in collaboration with the Watson referent e.g., water supply system, water quality and waste management
Logistic Manager oversees project premises e.g., MSF compound (, Central pharmacy , office, generator shelter, Log Store, etc) and Health Facilities
Ensures proper functioning and maintenances of all project structures e.g., sub health centres, pharmacy, office, OPD, IPD, etc

Make sure to have the necessary buffer stocks and regular orders to limit the risk of stock rupture. Organize orders on a monthly or quarterly basis. In collaboration with Supply office and coordination supply team, all supply procedures are in place and followed to respond to project needs
Follow-up of shipments from coordination, other projects and within the project
In conjunction with the IT Supervisor, monitor the proper functioning of IT/Radio equipment and network installations. Human Resources
Provide training and support supervision to all logistics personnel, including the Logistics Supervisor, Supply Supervisor, watchmen, drivers, and specialized technician

Implement security and safety measures in all project, including safe rooms, fire safety (fire extinguishers & fire alarm) and other necessary precautions against domestic incidents (such as fire extinguishers), and improve them as needed

Supervising the Watchmen of the hospital in terms of making/adjusting the rosters and ensuring the proper application of the security measures on the different gates
Supervising Specialized Technician regarding BIOMED devices maintenance, Electricity, Cold Chain and other technical issues follow-up
Planning, scheduling, and distributing the maintenance tasks (related to the hospital assets/equipment and infrastructure) to the Maintenance Agents and supervising the proper execution of their work. Following up the Job Requests in the hospital and informing the Logistics Manger about the progress of the Requests and the faced challenges
Supervising the inventory of the hospital assets/equipment as well as the toolbox of all technicians under responsibility
Preparing the quarterly order related to the logistics items used in the different Logistics families under responsibility
Planning and preparing the small rehabilitation work (in terms of designing the technical solution and identifying the used material) and supervising the work to be realized either by internal technician or external contractors
Supervising the Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (WATSAN) team in their daily work and verifying the safe cleaning, disinfecting, and refilling water bottles, safe cleaning of water distribution points as well as the checking the portability of the hospital water. Informing the Logistics Manager in case of any problem with the Residual Free Chlorine or the chemical analysis of the drinking water
Supervising the WATSAN team regarding the cleaning of the external spaces in the hospital as well as the external walls of the permanent structures
Supervising the Waste Zone Operators is their daily work and verifying the proper disposal and data registering of the waste based on MSF standard as well as the use of the Personal Protection Equipment
