Ensure the proper maintenance of the base, which includes the Office and OPD and IPD compound

Ensures that all the logistics basics are applies and are within the required minimum standards e.g., Water & Sanitation, Energy, etc

Adhere to MSF logistics procedures as outlined in the project SOP regarding supply management and security, including communication protocols, safe room standards, and guidelines for movements during summer and winter including shipments management and follow up out of working hours

Assess road conditions, access to locations, and develop clear itineraries
•
Organize and establish precise movement and road maps based on information gathered during explorations, alongside detailed movement SOPs
•
Ensure the good functioning of Watsan activity in collaboration with the Watson referent e.g., water supply system, water quality and waste management

Logistic Manager oversees project premises e.g., MSF compound (, Central pharmacy , office, generator shelter, Log Store, etc) and Health Facilities

Ensures proper functioning and maintenances of all project structures e.g., sub health centres, pharmacy, office, OPD, IPD, etc

Ensures proper functioning and maintenances of all project equipment e.g., vehicles, generators, solar systems, biomed equipment, etc
•
Ensure good maintenance of electrical installations and good energy saving practices are implemented
•
Ensure to perform all scheduled logistics and supply tasks on time
•
Monthly basis - Update of fuel consumption in MEMO, generate monthly orders, Logistics Sitrep, Cash request, etc
•
Quarterly basis - Quarterly inventory (Equipment and stock)
•
Supply Responsible for managing supplies related to all aspects of the project
•
Ensure to analyse on monthly and quarterly basis consumption of fuel, consumables and any other critical or strategic materials
•
Make sure to have the necessary buffer stocks and regular orders to limit the risk of stock rupture. Organize orders on a monthly or quarterly basis. In collaboration with Supply office and coordination supply team, all supply procedures are in place and followed to respond to project needs
•
Follow-up of shipments from coordination, other projects and within the project
•
In conjunction with the IT Supervisor, monitor the proper functioning of IT/Radio equipment and network installations. Human Resources

Provide training and support supervision to all logistics personnel, including the Logistics Supervisor, Supply Supervisor, watchmen, drivers, and specialized technician
•
Ensure good and timely communication with all activity managers and coordinators Annual Planning and Budget
•
Work on the logistics budget in conjunction with the PC, project admin and technical supervisor aligning with the project proposal
•
In collaboration with PC, LogCo to draw project yearly review and following year Logistics objectives
•
Ensure to follow agreed or set objectives (log and med) and apply all the logistics basics (good practices)
•
Security and Safety - Logistics manager is responsible for all applied security and safety at the project, therefore
•
Implement security and safety measures in all project, including safe rooms, fire safety (fire extinguishers & fire alarm) and other necessary precautions against domestic incidents (such as fire extinguishers), and improve them as needed
•
Ensure appropriate safety measures and applied security are put in place e.g., vehicle, premises/structure, equipment, electricity, safe rooms etc
