Lead beneficiary identification and verification processes to ensure that the most vulnerable and deserving women entrepreneurs are selected transparently and fairly in line with project criteria.
•
Conduct rapid market assessments and community needs assessments to identify viable business opportunities and ensure that start-up kits and cash support respond to local market demands.
•
Support the implementation of a women-focused entrepreneurship program benefiting 900 entrepreneurs, including refugee women and 30% of women from host communities, through the provision of business start-up kits, cash grants, and business development support.
•
Coordinate and oversee the distribution of livelihood assets, business start-up kits, and cash assistance, ensuring accountability, transparency, and dignity throughout the process.
•
Facilitate entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business management, and life-skills training sessions that strengthen women's confidence, decision-making abilities, and capacity to manage profitable enterprises.
•
Promote women's economic participation and leadership by encouraging networking, peer support, and community-based business groups that foster collaboration and sustainability.
•
Regularly monitor business performance and field activities, providing technical guidance and mentorship to women entrepreneurs to help them overcome challenges and strengthen their enterprises.
•
Work with community leaders, women's groups, local authorities, humanitarian partners, and UNHCR to create an enabling environment that supports women's entrepreneurship and economic inclusion.
•
Establish and strengthen community-based support mechanisms to assist vulnerable women, including female-headed households, survivors of violence, and women facing social or economic barriers.
•
Collect and manage beneficiary and project data using digital and paper-based tools to track progress, measure impact, and ensure quality reporting.
•
Document success stories, case studies, and lessons learned that highlight the transformational impact of entrepreneurship on refugee and host community women and their families.
•
Collaborate closely with Protection, Legal, and UNHCR teams to ensure that livelihoods interventions are implemented in a protection-sensitive manner and contribute to the overall well-being and resilience of beneficiaries.
•
Develop training materials and business support plans that respond to identified skills gaps and market opportunities among women entrepreneurs.
•
Serve as a resource person for explaining project objectives, eligibility criteria, and available livelihood assistance to beneficiaries, staff, partners, and stakeholders.
•
Coordinate with colleagues across different sectors to ensure integrated programming that addresses both economic and protection needs of women and their households.
•
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors to support effective project implementation and the empowerment of women entrepreneurs.
