Follow up on security developments in the areas of jurisdiction, identify and report criminal trends, security and safety gaps and weaknesses
•
Ensure crime prevention and detection procedures are properly applied
•
Lead teams investigating crimes in area of jurisdiction
•
Collect evidence, conduct interviews and draft final investigations reports
•
Ensure physical security plans and access control procedures for major events, high value public and private sectors premises (including foreign entities) in area of jurisdiction are applied in line with the ministry of interior overall security and safety plans
•
Liaise and coordinate with counterparts of different ministry of interior departments and services
•
Manage the criminal investigations unit assets and logistics ensuring all are operational including vehicles, weapons, telecommunications equipment and personnel
•
Plan and coordinate the unit needs with the concerned departments
•
Supervise and manage a team of 25 non-commissioned officers and recruits
