Clinical Communication: Answering phones, greeting patients/visitors, and routing information between nurses, surgeons, and other departments.

Patient Record Management: Assembling, maintaining, and updating patient charts, including filing laboratory reports, EKGs, and, history and physical (H&P) reports.

Scheduling & Coordination: Scheduling surgical procedures, diagnostic tests, and appointments.
•
Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality, and following infection control/safety procedures.
•
Administrative Tasks: Handling data entry, transcribing doctor orders, and assisting with patient intake or discharge paperwork.
