Sephora's OMS solution has implemented IBM’s Sterling Order Management software product and configuration of it’s out of box features, development of product extensions and customizations, payment processing, order merge, node lock, and integration to other systems. Sterling Order Management requires a tiered environment, using a combination of application server, Web server, agent / integration servers and database server software. The application servers run the base software, which is IBM Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Foundation, and all of the additional sterling modules, such as Distributed Order Management and region based sourcing. Cognizant is providing the technical solution and enhancing the solution for Sephora’s. As a part of the solution the functionalities implemented are Order fulfillment, payment processing with various external systems, Order Merge, Node capacity lock and promotional loyalty program.
